Lbrary and Social Media
The LIbrary tries to meet its patrons o the various social media platforms that exist. This is with the understanding that most of our patrons are in the contemporary group that use these platforms on daily basis for communicationn. In a spirit of drawing closer to our patrons, the standard social media sites have been engaged to have realtime communication adn feedbacks. The following icons repreesents what the Library uses in this regard:

To meet the growing demand of the Library reaching out to its patrons, we have created WhatsApp groups specifically for the various categories of patrons we serve. You may reques to join the group that best describes your relationship with the university.

Guiding Principles on WhatsApp
WhatsApp groups are to maint decorum in discussions on all platforms. Specifically, the groups does not allow:

Offensive material as deterimed by the administrator. Offenderes will be removed. Offensive materials may include (but not limited to) pornography, abusive words and gorry pictures.

Politely inform administrator to leave or be removed from the group. If leaving is accidental, the administrator should immediately be notified so an announcement can be made to other group members. Leaving without any ceremony will mean one is not put back into the group ever again.
Joining Any of our WhatsApp Platforms
The Library automatically puts members by sending request, using data available to the university. Accepting to join the group you are assigned will mean you are put in the group not later than in 24 hours. Please contact the Library if you have challenges with joining.

Library Patrons may also request to be put in a group by themselves, if for any reason they are not contacted or that option seem to delay. Please send a WhatsApp message to +254711253425, requesting to join the Library WhatsApp group. A verificatioin will be do to accertain the specific group you will belong to and you are then added, not later than 24 hours after requesting.
