About Orientation for Faculty / Staff

Orientation sessions for faculty are meant to give us a better understanding of the Library Policies and Procedures in order to guide our student in using the resources available at the UEAB library.  During Orientation Sessions, the Librarian takes all Faculty and Staff through the rudiments of Library appreciation, but does so at a relatively higher tempo than with students.  Also, it is a culture for the Librarian himself to take Faculty and Staff through this session.  However detail technicalities could be arranged with so that further and in depth skill will be taught on a one-on-one session by the Librarian or other library staff.

Please feel free to let us know your area of weakness in Computer Skills and we will be more than glad to assist as most orientation is based on your knowledge of computer usage.  Please note that Friday's training is only on a Library Orientation.
